The 4th edition of Blocks for Good kicked off with a discussion centered around the theme of web 3 collaboration for sustainability, in partnership with Bybit Web 3 and Blockchain for Good Alliance!
Emphasizing the mission to mobilize Earth for regeneration, the conversation aimed to foster collaboration among different companies, whether partners or potential competitors, to drive positive change towards sustainability. This collaborative approach signifies a shift towards a more interconnected and cooperative mindset within the tech industry, where companies are willing to work together for the greater good rather than solely focusing on individual success.
The discussion then shifted to introductions from the Co-Founders, Choua from Liquid Crypto and Daniel from Plastiks.
Choua highlighted Liquid Crypto’s mission to simplify decentralized exchanges and enhance transparency in the blockchain space, with a focus on providing access, education, and partner alignment to empower users while minimizing risks associated with crypto transactions.
On the other hand, Daniel shared insights into Plastiks’ approach to verifying and funding plastic recovery efforts globally. Through the issuance of digital certificates called plastic credits on the blockchain, Plastiks incentivizes the recovery of plastic waste by individuals and companies, channeling 80% of the proceeds back to the communities engaged in plastic recovery initiatives.
